asus p5b
E6300
and a GPU around the performance of a 1950pro
1 HDD
dvd burner

or do you recommend something else? i only got about $100 for a psu.

has to be a small PSU cus im building a custom case and its a bit small and has to fit the psu under everything else.

thx!

Most likely not.

Try the Corsair HX 520. It's about a hundred bucks at ZZF or Buy.com. The HX 620 is $116 at ClubIT.

I'd second the HX520 or the Seasonic S12.

they're too big i'm afraid :/

what about the Fortron/Source 1U 350W PSU? anything taller wont fit

im gonna have the mobo flat and put the psu under it

Hmm... well can you give us dimensions to work with?

about 5cm high is the only thing that matters so it will fit under the mobo ;)

Emacs makes several high-wattage 1u power supplies. Noise had better not be a concern, as there are 2 40x40x30-ish fans. There are other models on servercase, but this one's a pretty cood deal.

How are you going to connect the 24-pin connector? Wrap it around, or solder onto the bottom of the board?

do they ship to sweden?

and what do you mean about the 24pin connector??

From the PSU to the motherboard. How else are you going to power the motherboard? Though unhappy_mage is correct, wrapping it around isn't going to be fun.

According to the order page, yes.

The 24-pin connector (or 20-pin if it's an older board; doesn't matter, they're generally compatible) is on top of the board, yes? Are you going to wrap the thick cable for that around the board, or do you have a plan to avoid that?

i'll just wrap it up on the bottom of the pic. i just have to make sure i leave some space there
