4, if you count the remake:
  1. Silent Hill 2
  2. Silent Hill f
  3. Silent Hill Ascension
  4. Silent Hill Townfall

Is this the live service one or is this a single player one like 2 remake and F?

Ascension is the one that is assumed to be the live service title, though there are still questions how that will play out. Townfall is supposedly a prequel to the first game based on the hidden messages people have found, so I assume it's a "traditional" single player game. f is a spinoff, so Townfall is probably the "real" sequel/prequel in the primary timeline.
Konami.

Pass.
It's being made the studio who developed Observation (No Code Studios) and published by Annapurna Interactive in collaboration with Konami (since they're the IP holder).

Konami running away from 'we only do pachinko now' so fast like it touched them somewhere

I tried silent hill 2 Remake and F. Do you guys really enjoy them? Maybe these games are just not for me. I like the resident evil games lately and these are close but a little bland with an uninteresting story

SH2 was pretty good. SH F wasn't quite as good. A bit too predictable in terms of story. I understand its general setting but the combat was quite weak. I liked it, but SH2 was better.

I have liked the looks of this more and more, each time it has been shown. I will definitely be playing this.

Also worth mentioning: The developer renamed their studio from "No Code" To "Screen Burn".
Glancing at an article, it sounds like they wanted to avoid missconceptions, due to the rise of AI for game coding. And for this game, they actually have in-house programmers on the dev team. No outsourcing.

This and Control Resonant launching on the same day… and I’ve got at least a dozen great titles I’ve barely begun. If you’re a gamer, you’re never bored.

People use their cell phones to be entertained but basically turns you into entertained mush. Key is moderation and not to become invasion of the Cellphone snatchers.

I recently played through SH2 Remake and I forgot how good the story is in it, esp. after discovering the time loop theory that was confirmed in the remake. So it is actually in a way a sequel to SH2 since it's taking place in a different time line and you can see Jame's corpses from previous timelimes throughout the game. I was tempted to get SH-f after that, but the characters, setting, and combat for it didn't seem as interesting to me. This looks like a more traditional SH, so I'm sure I'll pick it up soon. It's already on sale for $37.49 on Fanatical and GreenManGaming.

I just started it and got to the intro sequence about 40 mins into it and am feeling it so far. Performance is better than SH2 was in terms of stability and total frames, but there are definitely still some occassional hitches. Overall a minor issue from what I've seen so far and if it's as good or better than SH2 was, then I don't see a big issue with it other than being annoyed with UE5 performance in general still. At lease in this slower paced type game I think the hitching is less of an issue. I'm getting 60-70 FPS maxed out at 3440x1440 native UW on a 5080, and 100-110 with DLSS quality. It's interesting there's no frame gen option though considering it was in SH2, but they may add it later like I think they did with SH2 as well.

The RT boiling noise isn't nearly as bad here as in SH2 either so far. But I was able to fix that in SH2 with the Ultra+ Mod manager that enabled Nvidia RR to replace the trash UE5 denoiser, along with improving some of the additional RT effects in the game like RT shadows. And I just checked and they already have the same mods available for SH: Townfall so I'll start playing around with that to see if I can improve the image quality a bit here as well, starting with enabling RR and disabling film grain (which there's no option to disable).
