I'm not really sure what this would be called exactly, but I'm looking for something will boost my cell phone signal at my home. I live in a low spot geographically and therefore have terrible cell phone signal reception at home, usually 0-1 bar with T-Mobile.

I've heard of devices you can buy that will boost the signal to your cell phone but upon calling T-Mobile they told me they didn't offer, or even sell anything like that.

I'd prefer whatever I get to work with all carriers if that's possible, but I'm not sure where to start at all. Does anyone have some recommendations for me by any chance?

If you have a smartphone, T-Mobile offers a free service that lets you use your wifi network for calling. Might be just what you need, and free.

I have WiFi in my house so I'm going to drop by there today and check into this, thanks for the heads up.

Yes T-Mobile do offer signal boosters. I got mine last week. It was free because I extended my contract. It is called a cel-fi booster. They run about $500 if you can't get one with a contract extension. You must also live in a house.

Long story short, it works great! I have signal everywhere now!

I ended up getting a wifi SIM card to just use my home wifi network and haven't had any problems since then, but thanks for the info. If this gets better range I might have to look into it, I appreciate it m8!

I have what AT&T calls a Microtower. Its hooked up to my internet and broadcasts a cell signal for full service. Works very well. T-Mobile might have something similar.
