Side Panel Cutting Question

I am working on an almost finished case mod that I might post the log for, but I have run into a snag.

I am cutting the below image out of the side panel and plan on putting some plexi behind it and some blue & green cathodes to simulate the color of the comet, but the problem I am having is how to cut it out.

I had planned on using my trusty dremel, but I can't really use any kind of cut-off wheel since they cut the lines too thick and are very hard to do the detailed curves with. I have also tried with a Tungsten Carbide Cutting bit, which lets me make curves, but cuts the lines too thick still and leaves the edges very rough.

I also have considered a jigsaw with a very small blade, but I am not sure if I can control and turn it the way the curves turn.

Any help?

I prefer to use a jigsaw when cutting panels. On steel cases, it will vibrate alot so make sure you clamp the panel down good. It looks like some of those curves will be too sharp for a jigsaw though. Maybe you could use a jigsaw for the longer cuts and a dremel for the sharp angles and curves.
 
the only way i would be able to cut something as detailed as that would be to have someone else do it, like take it to a place where they have special equipment to to do detailed cutting. as far as finding a place that does that sort of thing mabe ask sombody at your local computer store or search on the web.
Sorry i don't have any sudgestions on how to do it yourself but personally i wouldn't trust myself cutting out something that detailed and would probably end up modifying the design to something a little simpler but if you do attempt it yourself make sure to take it slow and in sections, cut a big simple area and then work your way closer to the edge then just grind out the little details.

jigsaw and an assortment of files....this will take long but have the best result imo
