I'm looking for a case with side mounted HD slots. It just seems to make so much sense to me. The only cases I've seen like this are the Antect Sonata and the Antec Lanboy 2. The sonata is just a tad expensive for what I want, while the lanboy is plain ugly. Do yall know of any other cases that have that feature?

my Enermax case has side mounted drives; most of the Thermaltake cases which utilize the enermax framing have side mounted drives.

cheers,

dave

I know, I know, easier said than done but...why not make your own? Go to Lowes/Home Depot, buy a piece of sheet metal, and do some cutting. I like them on their side so that I don't feel like they are frying in the case like a stack of ribs on a grill.

I've built two machines for friends with this particular case. It is basically the Antec Sonata without the ugly front (just the basic Antec front) and the fan is situated between the front plastic and the front steel, not being the drive cages like the Sonata. Also, it comes with a 350w Antec power supply, which I've had no problems with. I've built about 7 different machines, all comming with this particular power supply.
