After I installed a Si-120 w/ Yate Loon my NB temps have gone up about 3C on average, while my CPU temps have droped about 4C. What could cause this, my previous cooler was the XP-90 with high speed panflo?

if the new fan is not a high speed, there is probably not as much airflow over the chipset, causing higher temps.

No, it's a Yate Loon, but my chipset is actually pretty far away under the videocard (MSI K8N-Neo2-F). I have another fan I might try. What is the max temp the Nforce3 Ultra chipset can stand.

Well I aimed a full speed Vantec Stealth at it today and it was still staying at an average 34C. I was thinking about the vantec iceberg, but what has everybody else used for thier MSI Neo2-F (same as the Platinum layout wise).

Well after a 5hours of FEAR MP testing out my new G7 mouse the NB was at 40C which cannot be good, would the ventec iceberg cool any better than the stock one (used to only get up to ~34C, maybe it's a thermal grease thing).
