Yeah,
So I just upgraded my card and I got to thinking if this PSU would eventually not be enough to handle my components? I'm curious what PSU you have and what components you are powering, as I don't want to have too less power, etc. etc.

My rig:
A64 3500+ Newcastle
74gig Raptor
TDK +/- dvd burner
2x512 Mushkin PC3200
ATi X800XT AIW
Audigy2 ZS Gamer
Soon to be added:
300gig Sata Barracuda

What do you have in yours and what's the wattage of your powersupply? Also, is there anyplace to purchase a bigger PSU (All I could find was Ebay and it was only a 300W)

Thanks!

I'm currently powering (2) BFG 7800GTX in SLI with my Shuttle SN26P PSU rated at 350watts (same as SN25P) so you should have no issues running an X1800XT.

I typically play BF2 for a few hours at a time but this weekend finished FEAR on this PC (3 hour session) and then loaded up and palyed a few hours each of Quake 4 and COD2 on Sunday with no issues at all.

----------------------------------------------
SN26P: FX-55, BFG 7800GTX SLI, 2GB Corsair XMS, 74GB Raptor, Optorite USB DVDRW, Dell 2005FPW, Logitech 5500D

I have one of the Shuttle XPC 250 watt power supplies in a Shuttle XPC SB75G2. It has a P4 3.0GHz, 1GB RAM, Seagate 400GB hard drive, 1GB PC3200 Corsair LL RAM, 8x Plextor DVD+-/RW, SB Live Audigy 2, ATI All-in-Wonder X800XT.

No stability issues.

I have that same PSU, 250 watt, oddly enough the same card as well (just got it today, woot!)

I have a SN95G5 V2.0 with 240 watt PSU.

I power:
AMD A64 X2 4200+
1GB Corsair Twinx cass2
6800GT
250 GB HDD
NEC DVD RW 3520
and many USB things.

I have a spare 250 watt SilentX that I have had from my old XPC to though power ratigns are almost same so I keep original PSU.

Shuttle XPC SilentX PSU are incredebly strong. Even 300 watt G chassis model is a beast. 350 watt P series is a Monster.
