I wanted to add a window to my shuttle or make the entire case cover acrylic.

What do you reccomend I start with as a relatively newer modder, and more importantly is this feasable?
 
Go to the Worklog subforum and look at the window that Mashie put in DOOM3: Hell Inside....That should spark some ideas.

Apart from that, adding a window to a shuttle is not unlike adding a window to any other case. Every case has constraints on the side and style of the window. Shuttle's are just smaller, is all.

Very true.....but it also makes it quite a bit easier....less cutting the better i figure for "newbies" that are just trying it out.

One thing that an XPC would really benefit from that I've always wanted to try out, is three mesh windows.....one full panel sized mesh window on each of the three sides of the case, using something similar to the honeycomb style mesh for sale at mnpctech.com. This would give the shuttle a LOT of ventilation.....and would allow you to lower/keep down your I.C.E. fan speed and in the end quiet down your system.
