I am trying to defrag and it keeps locking up on me. I have to manually shut it off or hit the reset button on the front. Any ideas what's causing this? Thanks

I was having random freezes with my brand new SN25P system that I built in the last couple of days. Upon replacing the SATA cables as suggested in the thread, "SN25P User's Guide" by Aldoria, the freezes vanished. Also, make sure you are on the latest BIOS version, Y, if you have an X2 CPU.

Another vote for SATA cable replacement. I didn't believe...

Tilll I hooked up the SATA drive... Was a stable system, then it became VERY flakey - random lockups, failures to boot...

Replaced the sata cable, BANG - Sweet little performer now...

NOW I Believe...
