Shuttle SK21G - boot issue

My new shuttle SK21G has started hanging at the xpc splash screen on boot up. If I hit the reset switch it seems to boot up fine. I've reset the bios setting to default but it still does it. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
 
Got a Seagate HD by any chance?
There is a new BIOS update to fix a hanging issue with Seagate SATA drives
