Well i have started my mod to be able to have a 2 slot 5770 installed in my sg31g2. I have some pictures to show what i have done so far. I think the hardest part is going to be cutting the case side to allow me to put the case cover back on, thankfully i have access to a plasma cutter so cutting it wont be hard i am just going to have to make sure i get the measurements correct.

These are the before pictures.

Here is where i made my first mistake i didnt account for needing more room to insert the card

I am about take everything back out again and make the modifications and hopefully if everything goes well i should be in business, like i said next step after getting the card to find in the case will be to modify the case cover so i can have that on and still use the card, i still havent decided if i should make a mesh grill to cover the card on the outside of the case or go with an acrylic cover. Any suggestions will be a big help

also sorry about the huge img sizes should have previewed before i posted

You can still fix that you know. ;)

I'm curious, why didn't you just get a single slot video card and then just cut out the extra space from the case? Like one of these video cards?

There's even a couple of real single slot cards too.

But seriously. Fix the picture size.
