I am looking to get a shuttle barebone......

This is gonna be most likely a gaming machine or jus a high performance PC, but not looking to spend a lot at all.

I may be able to use some parts from my other computer, which im not sure is broken or not completly.

Im trying to decide between amd and p4, cuz ive been using amd for so long. Also amd is much cheeper considering barbones dont come with cpu's.

Anybody have reccomendations for one???

1. Use spellcheck
2. If I were going to buy a P4 Shuttle barebones, I would go with the SB75G2 . It's the best Shuttle barebones out on the market right now for P4. But, since you said you don't want to spend a lot of money, then you should go with the SB61G2 at least.
3. Shuttle doesn't really make high-end barbones for AMD, now that mostly everyone is joining the bandwagon and going P4. But the best one they have is the SN41G2 for Socket A. If you are willing to buy an Athlon 64(Socket 754), then this would be your best.
4. P4's run cooler than AMD's, and the P4's can overclock higher (most of the time).
5. My suggestion is that you should wait and save.

I have an SN45G, ran me about $280 when i got it last summer, runs great although it can get kinda hot once you start packing in stuff. But i am quite happy with its performance. I would reccomend it if you go the AMD route.
