Shuttle Power On Problem

I have an old Shuttle and recently something wierd has started happening. When you press the button to turn it on nothing happens. Then ten minutes later it suddenly turns on by itself. What is going on, this makes no sense? Does anyone know any possible solutions for this? Thanks
