Ok the fan on my shuttle is starting to annoy the crap out of me. So i am thinking of replacing it. Has anyone here have a shuttle with a good cooling system in it? IE something custom

I was looking at some external watercooling setups, and i am wondering which one is good.

most external watercooling setups will be larger than the shuttle it self lol. You could contain most of the watercooling inside the shuttle, with the exception of the radiator. A 120mm radiator mounted onto the back with an adapter only sticks out a little bit and is probably the best mix of cooling and size.

The easiest way is to either get a better fan, or switch to a push/pull fan setup (fans either side of the heatpipe so one is outside of the case.) You could also remove the honeycomb grill on the back of the case to improve airflow, which can also make it a bit quieter.

It's more likely that the noisy fan is in the PSU, especially if it's a 40mm one. I'm getting a 40-60mm adapter this week to try to make mine more tolerable.

The sudhian/sfftech forums already linked have a wealth of knowledge about modding shuttles, you could try a search there.

Im considering a watercooling setup similar to the links that guy posted...it looks expensive though
