I have s SN41G2. What ways are you all cooling your shuttle cases. I know that shuttles have a tendacy of running hot. I have removed my back grill. Does replacing the fan or adding a fan to the back make a big difference? How about switching the PSU from the 200w to 250w, does that make a big difference? Currently I am running 45°C idle and 53°C Load.

I removed my grill and placed my fan on the outside of the case. This seemed to result in a 1-2 deg difference. I moved from the 200w to the 250w SilentX which didn't make a noticeable difference. There aren't too many good ways other than getting a louder fan. I tried a PCI exhaust which only lowered my temps 1 deg. And your temps aren't bad at all for the components you have. Mine are at 52/38/52 running full load all the time.

I have an sn45g. I added a grill right where the fan is for my 9800pro. Can't read the temp on it but the airflow is better and it looks better anyhow...

blow hold above the cpu will do the job, just put a fan in it thats sucking out and you will see a big temp decrease..

I have a SS51G with a P4 2.4 Ghz running at stock speed. I have also got a Radeon 9600 card that came without a fan. I run the 80 mm fan on the Ice cooling system with a Zalman fanmate turned down to 5 v. I also run Smartfan and have the fans running at 1% untill the CPU hits 45 degrees c. I have the 200 watt power supply with the ADA fan thats suposed to be very quiet but isnt at all! :-/
I havent cut any grills or done any modifications.

When surfing the web and downloading stuff from DC++ temps are around 42-43 c. Gaming or emulating temps around 52 c and over.

Im satisfied with the temps but would like to have a little bit more quiet computer. Have been thinking of running an external fanless ATX powersupply but the wires going out of the cube would look horrible.
