Ok, I'm trying to tell this guy that the standard shuttle PSU should be fine with his system, but here it is, he'd like some reassurace.

Pentium 4 2.4 ghz 533 mhz fsb
512 mb Corsiar DDR 3200 XMS(however you spell it)
Radeon 9800XT
Tutrle Beach Monetgo 2
Western Digital 80 gig hard drive 7200rpm
and LG DVD R/ CD R and RW

The shuttle PSU should be enough, right? I've seen other with moreso in their rigs, on what looks to be the standard PSU. LMK, thanks.

it should be juicy enough. the shuttles only seem to have probmes with certain AIW cards, which ones i dont know, but if it doesnt work, shuttle just released a 250PSU that will work for certain

That would definately run on the PSU...You only need to worry when many HDs come into play...

Sounds like a awesome setup. Does he plan at all on adding extra things into his system? If so, it might be a good idea to invest in a PS with more Juice for the future, unless of course budget is an issue.

Well I registerd up..

Any plans for my machine upgrade... well another hard drive possibly but thats if I have money... Those shuttle 250 watt psu's are like 70 bucks..

My machine with a ati Radeon 9800 XT in it... Also.. with those closed crevises and that hot copper plate heat issues anyone?
