Hey guys, I'm running a AMD Barton 2500 XP with 768 MB of RAM and I am having problems shutting down my PC. The problem is that when I shut down the PC, the CPU fan, Case fan, and Rear fan does not turn off, everything else is shut besides those. When I turn off the power switch behind the power supply, the PC will turn off, but when I turn on the PW supply switch the PC turns on automatically. I figure it must be power supply problem, since i'm running a 350W or motherboard.

Sounds more like some wierd mobo problem, or maybe something is set wrong in the BIOS. What mobo do you have?

I'm running a ASUS A7N8X-X, it just started happening yesterday but I got this mobo for like 3 months already.

Well, if you have another power supply kicking around, I would try that.

You also might clear the CMOS, and see if that solves the problem (some motherboards have some settings with regards to powering up following a power failure).

...'tis an odd one.

Post up when you find out what the problem is!

I tried resetting the CMOS it didn't help, might try swaping a power suppy see if that helps
