Shut down instead of reboot

Hello,

I have an odd issue, not sure what caused it or how to resolve it. Whenever I tell my PC to reboot it shuts down. If any updates download that cause the PC to restart, it shuts down. I looked in the BIOS and I do not see anything that would control this although I could have missed it.

My computer currently has:
i5 3570k - Noctua NH-D14 - Sabertooth Z77 - 16GB G.Skill Sniper DDR3 1600 - WD 1TB HDD - Samsung 830 256GB - Asus GTX 670 2GB - SeaSonic X750 Gold 750W - Fractal Design Define R4 - Win 8 64bit Pro

My computer did recently inform me that a new Bios update was available. I do not think that would cause my computer to suddenly stop rebooting though, would it?

Check in Asus Z77 threads.... I would think this is a mobo issue.
