If you live in Canada and you like to play lottery, I would go for Dell 2007FPW $329CDN.

nope no 226 or 206 go to this website thats where im ordering my stuff.... shoprbc.com

I know people who work there (shopRBC) and they can order Dell LCD's for you IF you ask ! I have spent allot of $$$ over the years there... :) They can get those models in I would go with current the LG 22".Cheaper and decent support after the sale. Are you in Ottawa as well ? I live in near St.Laurent shopping centre :D

Edit : You do mean this site right ?

Edit: I work for a competitor of RB's in the city.

haha sweet i live in between ottawa and montreal ill be moving to ottawa this summer (college) but ya i was wondering if rbc could order a different monitor... that lg sounds nice but dont like that tn panel.. been hearing lots of negative views on this... do you think its a good monitor... and do you happen to work for RA computers?.. i like rbc cuz its all customer based... like custom quotes and stuff..just looking for the best monitor for the price.. heard acer was good and also heard it was bad.. very confusing.

Hi,

Just incase you dont get this,I will post it in the thread as well.

I work part time at PC Cyber.we have 5 locations and a warehouse.RB and PC Cyber are the two best places in the city to buy a comp, period.RB does sell Dell,if you ask. They can get lCD's I know as I have purchased one from them, and at a great price.I have bought lots of stuff from them over the years.

Believe it or not,I was the first person they sold an Intel system to,back in 2001(It was a Northwood 1.6A based system) Up until then they had never sold a fully built Intel system !! They were die hard AMD fans back then. Before 2000,it was near impossible to get them to sell even a Intel proc ! You will not be screwed around by them, great people over there on Stafford.Allot of places that sell pc's in Ottawa are straight out crooks, there is no other way to say it nicely.Whatever you do,stay FAR far FAR away from MDG.ca

They are the the most underhanded thieves in the business.Bar none !! My dad (who is legally blind) went in to one of thier Ottawa locations 2 years ago,and bought a 3K system that was supposed to be for playing games,he came home with a celeron 800,with 512 megs of sdram pc100,no agp slot and a 17" CRT monitor from LG,and a 80Gb hard drive, and it used a ECS motherboard (JUNK).The sales rep told him it was the top of the line, and could "easily be upgraded with a faster video card"....it didnt even have a sound card, for that price. We a few days after he bought it,priced out the same system at my work and it would have cost nearly 2000 Cdn less !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was embarrased and very angry, and upset. I reported them to the BBB.But nothing has come of it yet.Be very very careful who you deal with.Allot of people get taken for a ride by the local 'mom & pop' PC shops and never know it.RB is a great place, and more importantly an honest reseller/var.Try to go with an LG or Samsung LCD,if you want to go low price but dont want complete and utter junk.Stay away from BenQ and Soyo,as well as V7 and Asus and Sceptre, all outsource thier LCD's and some are junk,Benq is a little better but not by much (IMHO) I have never owned a BenQ,but have sold and serviced many.Good luck.

another computer nightmare story my mom bought a laptop from futureshop in 2004 its been a heep of problems .. hard drive was replaced, motherboard replaced.. and the power jack replaced. my mom sent back the laptop to futureshop 3 weeks ago and she got a call last thursday saying that they couldnt fix it so they are sending it to the company.. so another 3 week wait. in the contract it says 3 major repairs = free laptop.. we were on the 3rd when my mom asked if she gets free laptop and he said no its after the fourth.. oh btw the extended warranty ended on the 19th of this month we had sent it there like 2 weeks before that date. so now we are waiting to see what happens.. also my sisters computer has been a nightmare from the beginning ahaha .. her mobo, psu, and hd fried 2 days ago after having many problems with it .. so she bought an hp laptop .. lets hope this one lasts haaha
