Show your Vista Rating!

Can you guys please post your hardware so I know what gets 5.9

My overall score is 4.2

AMD64 3500+ @2.4ghz
7900GT KO 256mb @stock
2gb DDR ram @172mhz

No. And there's already a thread existing which is aimed at finding out what the necessary haerdware is for a 'perfect' 5.9 rating.

This thread is a fun activity, but the Experience index isn't a suitable thing to use to compare machines, as I've mentioned in that thread. It's for working out if your system is suitable for running particular software programs.

Mine gets a 4.2, by the way. The 128Mb 6600GT cards hold its 'gaming graphics' score back from gaining more than that.

4.9!! RAM also; everything else 5.9ish...

Vista Business and

3800x2 @ 2.4
1GB DDR2 533
7900GS
160GB SATA

4.8 for my ram curse 4x512 sticks... 5.3 for my processor and 5.9 for the 8800 tho.

5.5

Why some Opteron's at lower clocks are scoring higher on their CPU than my C2D, I dunno. Honestly I think my system should be a 5.9, as the CPU is definitely not the weakest component in my system. I am not to worried about it though, as hte score is basically meaningless.

My overall score is a 5.1 index score.

I suspect it's my ram that down graded me :/ cauz using corsair value ram 2 gigs.

overall ascore= lowest piece of hardware you own.

aka those who think they dserve a 5.9 probaly need to get a 10k hard drive to max that out.

4.2 here my cpu was the low point amd 64 3200

Processor: 5.2 (FX-60 939 2.75 GHz)
Memory: 5.9 (DDR400 running at 500 mhz)
Graphics: 5.9 (8800 GTS)
Gaming Graphics: 5.9 (8800 GTS)
Hard Disk: 5.7 (Older SATA Raptor 74G, forget which version)
Overall: 5.2

PS - Sig is out of date

I have a 10,000 RPM Raptor as my system drive, and my RAM is running super tight timings. My C2D is what Vista scored as a 5.5, keeping me from a 5.9, and my C2D being a bottleneck is as load of crap. C2D's are the current the fastest desktop CPU's on the market, how is rating lower than all the Opterons floating around? Not to knock Opterons mind you, which are stellar CPU's in their own right.

It just goes to show the ratings are total BS.

5.5 is my rating. Will post screens when I get home from work.

Processor is 5.8 (Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.7GHz - 1640FSB)
Memory is 5.5 (2GB [2x1GB] DDR2 800 @ 820MHz Cas 4-4-4-10 Dual Channel)
Graphics 5.9 (XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB)
Gaming Graphics 5.9 (XFX GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB)
Hard Disks 5.9 (Raptor 36GB OS, Raptor 36 GB for Page File, 500GB SATA II Storage)

My Memory is 5.5 which is weird becuase I am seeing other peoples memory which is slower than mine, get a better score. Not that im really worried about it tho.

OK, I didn't see that other thread when I asked people to post their hardware but I see it now. What's holding back my score must be because my ram is running async and lack of dual core cpu.

Processor: 4.8 [X2 3800+]
Memory: 4.9 [2GB DDR400]
Graphics: 5.9 [7900 GT]
Gaming Graphics: 5.9 [7900 GT]
Hard Disk: 5.2 [Western Digital 120 GB SATA]

Overall: 4.8

5.7 overall. 5.9 on everything except the cpu. The cpu got a 5.7 with the e6600 @ 3.4 so I presume the higher scores are due to higher clocks.

not too bad I suppose...

specs are:
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 4400+ @ 2.71 GHz
RAM: 2GB G. Skill HZ @ 246MHz 3-4-3-8
GPU: ATi Radeon X1900XTX
HDD: 300GB Maxtor Diamonmax 10

Don't forget that it only looks at the hard drive the OS sits on and nothing else.

I have a 5.1 rating.

Processor: 5.1
Memory: 5.6
Graphics: 5.9
Gaming: 5.9
Primary Disk: 5.9

Dual Opteron 252
2GB RAM...registered ECC though, which slows it down.
8800GTS
Two Seagate X15-36LP 18GB drives in RAID1

-MacG467

4.2 for me... but thats only w/ 1gb of ram... had to RMA the other gb... so maybe it will go up... also might upgrade to an opty 175 still not sure

A64 3500+ @ stock 2.2
X850 Pro (forgot to add its flashed to XT)
1gb Ram (waiting for my other gig to get back)

Your score is the same as mine and I have a faster video card (7900GT KO), 1gb more ram and my 3500+ is clocked at 2.4ghz. This rating scheme don't count for much then if you get the same score as me when my system is faster.

Mine is 5.1......Everything on the list is 5.9 except my cpu which is a 5.1, but my motherboard cant go any higher " I'am giving her all she's got Captain "

5.7

..and that's because of my slow cpu. :) --everything else gets 5.9. I suspect all quad cores will get the 5.9 rating. I would like to know what MS rates AMDs quad counterpart.

Not really. With quad intel and 2Xquad for AMD those will have the best chance for a 5.9 cpu score

As I mentioned in another thread, I get a 5.6 whether I run my E6600 at 2.4GHz or 3.0GHz. I doubt there's even a benchmark running, let alone a multithreaded benchmark.
