Show Temp on gpu ?

I want check the temp of my gpu, but it does not show up on SpeedFan or RealTemp. I would expect everything to plugged correctly, its sitting pretty well on the motherboard.
What could be wrong here ?
 
Years ago I remember lower end cards didnt have temp sensors. I havent used a low end card since ~2005-6 so I dont know how much has changed in that regard. Would help if you said what card you have :p

Are you running Vista or 7? I got a gadget that shows nvidia information for me without having to run anything else. Clocks, fan speed, memory/core load, temps, etc.
