That's the app drawer. The icon looks like the Nexus One's drawer, but it brings up the standard Android 2.0 app drawer.

Running the 2.1 Bugless Beast 0.7 ROM overclocked to 850. Helix Launcher for the 4 buttons on the bottom. The background is the live maps background that came with the latest maps update.

The last image is Car Dock v2, which allows you to make your own car dock app that launches when placed in the car dock. It defaults to the app icons but they look like crap blown up so I found some nice icons off deviant art to replace them with.

You have to have Android 2.1 and the newest maps update installed.

seems like it'd kill the battery even faster? what's your experience with that wallpaper.

Battery life has only improved since upgrading to a 2.1 based ROM. That includes using Live Wallpapers and overclocking since I'm using a low voltage kernel.

2) Restore Custom Recovery Image - http://rootyourdroid.info/guides/custom-recovery-image/

Follow the instructions here for the ROM I'm using. Use the Nandroid restore method. For overclocking install Chevy's Kernel.
