"Show GPU load balancing" quick question about it...

I have that option set to enabled, under the SLI configuration tab, but when im in games (ex. UT2004) the bar doesn't move, nor does any slider or graph. Does this mean that SLI isn't working in this game? if so, how else would I enable it?

if you see the green HUD on the screen when you launch a game SLI is enabled in some form or another.

UT2004 is on the SLI supported list here: http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_sli_certifiedapps.html

If the middle green bar doesn't move that means AFR is in use, otherwise it would be SFR

what you should look for is on the left hand side, there should be a bar graph going vertically on the very left side, a green bar should fill that space moving out from the center of the screen going up and down as you play, that's AFR

if the middle green bar is moving up and down dynamically, that's SFR

that happens in DOOM 3 i've noticed as well, it doesn't move much, but i still recieve a large performance increase

so it sounds like SLI is working for you, now to just fiind out how much of a performance gain you are getting

Its not suppose to move really.. Just shows you what part of the scene is going to card A and what part is being rendered by card B
