Show desktop

Hey guys.

I got bored and hooked up my shitty 19" CRT next to my 24" Gateway LCD. Got everything cool with my 4850x2, however when I click "show desktop" in Windows, it minimizes everything on monitor 2 as well.

Anyway to stop this? =P
 
No one has any ideas on how to make my show desktop button, only effect 1 monitor and not the other? =\
 
It does that because your desktop is extended across both monitors. You really have only one desktop.

I don't know if Windows has the functionality to give each monitor its own desktop. Maybe some third party multi-monitor apps can do it.
 
Hmm, that makes sense!

I've tried Ultramon, but didn't really like the way its set up...anyone have any reccomendations?
 
Ultramon has the functionality you're looking for built-in, though you have to go through 2 cascading menus.

Right-Click Taskbar icon > Window Management > This Monitor > Show Desktop
 
Not able to find that setting anywhere on Ultramon 64-bit...

Um, i dont really understand but ill try, displayfusion + ultramaon are your friends :)
