Show Contacts list in Thunderbird?

Hi all,
Quick question for you Thunderbird email users: Is there a way to show your contacts list under the folders display on the left pane, like in Outlook Express?

I can't seem to figure this out, and it's driving me up the wall.

Theres an extension called contacts sidebar.
