I was wondering why my average didn't go up when I added my friend's computer to the [H]orde. I overclocked it 1 too many steps, but it somehow made it to like 22% on the first unit before EUEing. I dropped it a step and as far as I know it's going fine now. On well, that's what I get for not paying attention.

Hehe

I had to get rid of all O/C on my boxen as it was all unstable. But it could have been because of the stanford problems we were having lately. Havnt bothered to check.

It was, I'd redo all of them to their previous levels. The 5801 WUs were CRAP out of the gate. They ALL EUE'd within 16 seconds after starting. They tested them on an OLD core before 1.15 and they worked on it. I'm like WTF?!?! Why would you test it on the old platform. That's like asking for trouble. It bit them squarely in the ass.

Well for a bunch of PhD'd they arent the brightest folk out there sometimes.

Keep in mind that the Pande group is composed mostly of graduate students. They don't have their Ph.D.s yet....also they are chemists not comp sci folks (and it shows doesn't it :D ) They need to hire Xilikon to run the software side of things.

Well someone has to program the WU's. If its not done by computer science types who does it?
