Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
if you are concerned that your temps are low, you can also unplug the fan and wrap your heatsink in tin foil (shiny side in for better results of course)...
how come nobody decides to add useful info to this?
49C im guessing is stock heatsink and load temps
im just guessing u have an athlon xp, so those temps are a bit high but nothing too serious
after an oc u should see some temp increase but i think ur setup will be able to handle it
i don't really trust temps. on my p4, stock load was like 38C, when i OC the crap out of it, i load at 44C. the sink doesn't feel that much warmer, but my system has never crashed as a result of the OC, and the thermal protection has never kicked in so it can't be "that" hot.
