Pull the trigger with 2 3870 video cards or wait for the 4xxx line. My problem is I am returning from a deployment and have a wad of cash to build me and my wife new rigs. I come back in early June and don’t really want to wait but may be willing to do so if the cards drop relatively soon. Do you think I would be terribly unhappy if I went with the 2 3870’s or maybe 2 3870x2 once the 4xxx come out? Thanks for all the help.

are you really serious? you're five weeks away from new gpu tech. expect more than a few enthusiasts to unload their 3850 and 3870's on the cheap; i will.

you wouldnt be unhappy if you got a cheap deal on them, theyre good performing cards no matter how you look at it, but paying full retail for them would be a bit crappy.... depends what games you play and if ur a crysis freak or not lol.

Thanks for the replys. I may just wait then. Damn thats going to be tough oh well. I am sure they will be worth it.
