Right now I have a X850XT PE (actually its a X800GTO2 Unlocked and oc'ed). Question is should I upgrade to a X1800XT, 7800GTX or at all?

Currently I play COD2, BF2 (Mainly), CS:S. I want to get Elder Scrolls IV: Obvlivion but don't have any must have games other than that. The upgrade will cost me around $200CDN ($170USD).

Now I'd like to get a X1800XT since it has 512mb ram, but it only has 3 year warranty and can't be used in my SLI motherboard for SLI later.

The 7800GTX on the other hand only has 256mb ram, is a little slower but has lifetime warranty (XFX) and I can use it for SLI later.

I'm kind of leaning towards not upgrading at all though since my systems plenty fast for BF2, COD2, and CS:S. It should also be ok for Oblivion I think.

Anyways, what's your opinion?

System specs in sig.

If your willing to spend the money on a 7800GTX, you might as well go for a 7900GT for half the price and just as much performance. Or go a step up and grab the 512GTX.

Actually I should have mentioned that. The 7900GT is actually about $20 more than the 7800GTX. The 7900GT is an option as well :D

What monitor are you using? My X800XTPE runs everything out right now great, but then again I game at 1280x960 on my 21" trinitron and 1024x768 on my little LCD that I take to LANs. If you have an LCD monitor that has a fairly high native res like 1600x1200 or 1680x1050 or even higher then you should upgrade your card, otherwise the X850XTPE should easily be enough.

x850xt (pes) are fine for todays games id just wait for dx10

My X800XT PE runs oblivion well at 1280x1024 with fairly high settings... With medium textures it even runs 1776x1000 on my HDTV. I'm really considering the X1900/7900 just for this game, but somehow I think it's a better idea to suck it up and wait for the next gen.
