Should I take the plunge?

Hello, I currently own a 21'' Sony Triniton LCD and it seems to be working perfectly,

I would like to buy a 2001FP, although I've heard some blatant porpoganda that it will ghost and won't play fast paced games well

This will be a problem as I currently play Farcry, Halo (online) Need for speed: underground. and various others, and I will get Doom III. Will this be a problem?

If you're happy with what you currently have, why waste money on something else? Are you planning to run them both at once, or what?

Again, why? If you're happy with what you have, why spend that much money on something else that you may not end up being as happy with?

i guess im wanting it for the aestetic values... i suppose ill reconsider it more.... I should save up for the car I wanted :)

u live once...go for it ! 2001fps are awesome..16ms response...no trails in fast fps shooters

BlckRaven what program are u using to get the 'Mac OS' type interface at the top of the screen... with the weather, globe, etc.

you can call and get 20% off it, at 800bucks plus tax, why would you not get one.

i just bought one, no ghosting, etc. its big, its beautiful, and its practical.

go buy one, join the club.

So you own a 21" LCD, but want to downgrade to a 20.1" LCD and waste alot of money? Go for a bigger 23"+ widescreen instead :D

I *believe* he's using a program called "Y'z Dock". It's really fantastic, you can put all sorts of things on it, and people are amazed when you tell them your computer isn't a mac. Actually though, it's quite convincing if you give your desktop a skinning with styleXP and move around the icons and toolbars.

Black Raven, what are those 2 wall paper in the background? I don't own XP, is that a function of XP, allowing 2 wall paper separately per screen?
