my friend's computer..
right now i am in latvia.. that's a country in eastern europe.. and using my friend's computer..
it runs well and all.. but i fired up cpu-z to see what he has..

i think he has a 2.4c northwood.. and shitty memory.. 2x256

here are the cpu-z screens:

now i am nervous about doing anything for a few reasons..
1st.. the cpu voltage fluctuates between 1.504v and 1.568v.. and a bunch of steps in between.. and i am talking every 5 seconds it reads something different.. so i assume it has a shitty psu..
also, i don't know if his motherboard chipset can oc, i jsut don't know anything abuot intel chipsets..
but i do believe that his 2.4 northwood should be a mean overclocker.. and something modest might help him..
his memory is at 166. 2.5-3-3-7.. would it benefit him if i changed the memory?

so i am not asking if anything should be upgraded.. the answer is no. the comptuer runs stably.. and is pretty fast.. so i will probably leave it be.. but maybe i could bump up his cpu to 2.8 or 3ghz. or change his memory to 200mhz.. so there is no divider. or something

Would he see a noticable improvement?

If yes you could do some minor overclocks probably.
