I have a Radeon 9800pro, and was wondering whether I should get the 5.2 drivers. Im using the 5.1 at the moment but ive seen some comparisons between these and the new 5.2.
The 5.2 performed worse than the 5.1 slightly in most of the tests so my question is...

Who here has upgraded from 5.1 to 5.2 and are happy with the drivers?
 
I upgraded. Just 'restart a few times' after installing. That will get rid of the funky frame rates (in CS;S and HL2) you'll get right after installing.
 
i would just wait for the 5.3's they will be out soon. im still using the 5.1's myself. since 5.1's still work fine.
 
Yeah I think ill wait for the 5.3... any idea when they will be out?
