i have a celestica 9600xt. the damn thing won't oc very well at all. i'm taking about artifacting with a 15mhz increase in core, even tho my temps are fine. 30c idle 50load. also, overdrive works, which is a 27 increase in core, but it doesn't if i turn overdrive off and do a 27mhz increase. i'm thinking of it being a software problem, and thinking of flashing it to a different brand's bios.

questions is:

will this help at all
how do i back up my current bios
if i flashed to one with a different memory, would my card f'up?
will flashing ruin my card.

does overdrive increase voltage as well?? u might just need to up the voltage a bit..that would take some bios editing....

thx for the responses... not. ^^ not including above post.

so anyways, i flashed it to a sapphire 9600xt with a stock clock of 500/325, up from 500/300. my core still ocs like crap, but at least overdrive oc still works.... oh and i'm able to bring up my memory to 340 from my previous oc of 330 without artifiacts. :) so i dunno, maybe it helped maybe it didn't.

- oh and how do i edit my gpu bios?
