• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Should I expect any problems trying this?

Ok, first things first, here's my setup...

Abit IC7-G
2xHitachi 160gb SATA, RAID 0 (on Intel RAID controller)

I want to add another IDE hdd to use for a scratch drive for my TV capture card. If I add the harddrive, will my system still be able to boot from the RAID controller and not the first available IDE hdd?

Shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to rearrange the disks' boot order in BIOS.

Standard warning about raid 0; lower life expectancy, not much speed increase, backup now!, blah blah blah.
