Should I do it....

So I ordered the 850xt but the order got rejected??? The 1300xt is on its way back. I would be braking the bank BIG TIME, but should I go for this or maybe just buy an 800gto/850xt and save my money for now?

Oh, BTW I upgraded to 1gb of ram so I have a little more capability there. IIRC my power supply is 550 watts, processor a 3700 San Diego.

lol.. It's up to you... But if you really must get 1900xt I wouldn't want anything lower than a 512meg card especially if you were to keep it for a while...

I would save the money and wait till what dx10 has in store for us...

Kind of my feeling the 800gto is cheaper than that 1300 and the reviews put it slow but faster than the 1300. It can likely get me through the game I want even if minimally and next year I can do something bigger. Just my gut feeling the 1900 will be way cheaper soon.

You should get the 850xt... It's superior to the GTO... Has extra 4 pipes...

I still like 17" monitors believe it or not and I have an old flat screen NEC, not an LCD. And the reason I mention the 1900xt is the benchmark it got on Tom's

True but if I go disposable I may as well go cheap? The 850 was recommended to me before but the more I am willing to spend the more I want to.
