Should I combine EADS with EARS?

I've got WD20EADS 2TB 32MB hard drives. I want to use them in a media server but I need to buy some more 2TBs to create a NAS with RAID etc. It seems the EADS are hard to find now, so my question is can I buy WD20EARS 2TB 64MB hard drives and mix them with my EADS drives in a RAID. Right now I plan to use FreeNAS.

WD20EARS should not be used in RAID arrays. This is not new, it's been covered multiple times. If you want to subject yourself to endless headaches and shoot yourself in the foot, please by all means buy WD20EARS drives.
