Hello folks.

Games i play are, Diablo III, WoW, SC2,(blizz fanboy alert) Heroes of Newerth, Dirt III, Company of Heroes etc... @1080p

Now with the rig in my sig, i can play these just fine. But i wanna max the settings, and also be able to try out skyrim etc.. currently i can't. I was marketresearching for something like 7850, 560ti, etc etc.. However i found a used THIS for 80$ with warranty. Is this a good price?.. What kind of a difference should i expect after my 9600gt in terms of FPS and percentage?

$80 isn't bad for that. Should be able to get 60fps in most of those games if not all. Now you probably won't be able to get that framerate at max settings. But at the very least it will be better then a 9600gt.

Yeah $80 isnt a bad price but thats not that great of a card. None of those games are really that demanding but if you can come off with a little more cash, youll really be glad you did later on especially if you decide you want to try a little BF3 or Crysis or something.

You could consider this card too

XFX HD 7770 - USD 120

But if you want to buy a really good card for 1080p gaming get a HD 7850.

XFX HD 7850 - USD 240

You can OC this card to 1050 Mhz and get GTX 570 performance with much lesser power consumption..

Thanks for the suggestions and replys. Currently i am out of budget for those 7770 and 7850, even if the 7850 is the one i want to get in a few months, i was not currently thinking of getting anything till this come up, i am more concerned on the performance side, and i will get dx11. I can always sell this for almost same price in a few months and get a 7850 right?

And can anyone provide me with bench comparison links of 550 and 9600gt? I am currently unable to find any..I'd appreciate if those inclue the games i listed above, then i can get a better idea what im looking at..

Well seems like the card performs under even hd5770. DAMN, i think it doesnt worth the hassle over my manually overclocked good old 9600gt . Will not buy it nvm. Thanks for the guidance guys, much appreciated. Will eat less kebab and save for a 7850 :)
