Anyone know of a shorter height audio card (shorter than bracket) with optical SPDIF? My Hercules Digifire won't work in my Asus Pundit-R and trying to work around problem with existing onboard audio.

Thanks!

The Audiotrak Maya 5.1 MkII is a low profile card that will fit in most any system and meets your requirements. It has both optical and coaxial S/PDIF out. However, I have not been able to test it yet, as he system it is is non workable because of a display and chipset driver conflict. I may get blown out of the water for even suggesting it.

I ordered it from Florida Music Co, and was quite pleased with their shipping/service. Didn't have to return though, so YMMV.

That looks perfect, couldn't find much info on the chipset though. Anyone familiar with it?

Thanks!

IIRC it's the Via Envy 24-bit soundcard chipset. Same as used on the AV-710.
