Shortening PSU cables

I've got a SFF case so cable length is a big hindrance here. Trying to shorten all the PSU cables to improve airflow/not look like crap. Been having trouble finding info on this. Few questions....

If I have several molex connectors on the same cable, and want to shorten that to just one, will that need any voltage adjustments? Or can I just snip it, reattach a molex connector, and be good to go?

Has anyone here done this and have any pointers? Only guides I've found are on cable sleeving, which involves removing the molex connectors....one guide says to get special molex removal tools, and another says to just use a mini screwdriver.

Unplugged the PSU last night so I don't die or something :)

Voltage difference between the hot and ground remains the same no matter how many connectors you have on there. You can take one off just fine.
Personally, I didn't like having that long stray cable with the weird attachment in my case ... I think it's for servers.. the white one... and looks weird...
So I opened up my PSU, snipped all the cables off for that one, wrapped some electrical tape around the ends and closed the PSU up.

Works just as well as before, but with less clutter.
