Anyways, lately, i've found that if I unplug my speakers and plug in my headphones into the jacks on the back of my sound card. My computer begins to make a terrible static like noise that is irritating as hell, not only that, but it freezes. This only occurs if I change a plug on the back of my sound card. Is my card shorted? Should I purchase a new card before this causes problems to my motherboard?
