Shortcuts Icon's loose artwork

win 7 Ultimate x64

odd.. a few apps that I have pinned to my Task bar.. Like Evga Precision, Core temp, etc.. after sitting on the taskbar a day or two.. the image is gone... and the shortcut looks like a unfamiliar or un associated file..

is it because they are unsigned drivers etc?

Even when I drill to the exe's location..the actual exe has the same old windows un associated look..yet..they work. not a biggie..just aesthetics.. but..odd

Right click, go to Properties, and change the icon.

thanks for tip.. I meant to add.. I tried that. in fact, when I even go to the directory where the exe is..even doesn't show the original image..

Rebuild the icon cache.
