Looking for squat mATX cases....I currently have my stuff in a Sugo SG03 box with the bottom removed. I have a little...well...nook in my desk I like to keep my tower in and it's height limited. The SG03 has served me well but it's time is past and I need to start looking into my next build. The biggest restriction to this location is height. It's gotta be about 12" MAX and ideally a little less. This leaves....few options that I've found so far.

I've only found a couple cases that fit my criteriea, the Corsair Air 240, FD Node 804, and the newer Sugo cases.

So am I missing any? Or does anyone have opinions on ones I've listed? Right now end specs are kind of up in the air...it'll end up being for a Ryzen build (I know there are no mATX boards in the wild yet, but this build won't happen til the summer anyways), HOPEFULLY Vega GPU if it's not garbage (otherwise 1080 or equivalent). I'd like to water cool the Ryzen but a case with enough airflow to not have to deal with air cooling the GPU would be ideal. I don't have any experience with custom loops, so I'm trying to avoid that....but who knows. More hard drives the better, but ultimately size is more important than potential storage capacity.

So...that's it.

Thanks ahead of time!

That's gorgeous....probably more than I'm willing to spend on a case....but....nice option. Selling my AMD stock to pay for this once I've held it long enough to qualify as a capital gain....so hopefully it keeps going up and I can take a look at that one!

That's one of those cases that would probably last a few builds...

Cool. After looking at dozens of cases. I started to think about what I would build, and what I came up was VERY close to the BH4. I thought with a this layout and SFX it could be kept nice and shallow, be small overall and have two nice big cooling fans.

The only things missing from making it match what I was thinking of, was 140mm intakes and fan filters.

Just grab a 140mm hole saw and go to town!

Try this
LIAN LI Black Aluminum PC-C37B Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case. It is only 4 inches tall

Just moved my sons pc from a clunker atx case to a Thermaltake V21. Very nice case and easy to work on as well as being usually under $60
