The fit in my SG01 between my CD/DVD rom and my psu is very tight, I was wondering if there was a dvd/cd rom combo drive that was shorter than an average drive I could use in my case.

I usually use pioneer brand cd/dvd roms, but I have used samsung in the past. I found the samsungs to be a lot shorter. I noticed a big difference in my old Shuttle SN45G when I got a samsung burner to replace my old pioneer burner.

I've used both Liteon and Samsung drives that were both quite short. Much shorter then the "typical" size.

Lite on drives and big enough to fit the CD inside of it. Its as small as a CD drive could possibly come without making the CDs smaller.

Lite-On drives are the shortest I've used. They're what I use now in all of my Shuttle XPCs and other SFF PCs.
