how do i put enought voltage through an lcd so i can blow it?
not blow it up, but u know just so that it wont work anymore... :)
 
lol no is it possible just to blow it with by using another power packs rated voltage

Frankly, there is no other reason OTHER than to rip off warranty service to do this...unless you're Mr. Wizard and are out of projects for the kids to watch.
 
If, you don't know how to do it, then you don't need to be doing it in the first place....
 
Connect a battery charger (for 12volt car batteries) to a normal pc style plug, keep the end that connects to the monitor and cut off the other end, strip wires and connect the jumpers.
Crank it up to the highest setting and grab a camera.
 
lol no not like that, i need to see the effects from this type of testing

i thought i could just connect one of them universal adapters and flick around the DC voltage from 2 - 12v ?
