Hi I'm shopping for a new lcd since mine (LG L222WT) has huge light leakage and is very average.
I saw the new samsung F2380MX and I love the simple square gloss-less design with very little wasted space around the screen but not the price. Anybody has a mid-range (high-end TN I guess) 22-24" in mind wind that kind of design?

Seams like a great lcd for the price but since I'm mainly a gamer who want nice contrast ratio, black lvl , no input lag/ghosting and do not care about color restitution I wanna make sure this e-ips will fit my need better than a similarly priced TN.

By the on dell.ca there is a 100$ coupon on it, should i jump on it or it's been there for a while

it's got something close to zero input lag, and almost no ghosting.

the black levels and contrast aren't anywhere near a PVA panel, though everything still looks great. and if you're a gamer worried about input lag and ghosting, you wouldn't be touching those anyway. :D

You can get it for $212 USD if you email christa_ford@dell.com - I don't know if shipping would be a bit higher if you are in Canada.

I red a few post with pic confirming what you said about input lag and ghosting and it's enough for me

You are right I'm not a hardcore gamer and have never notice ghosting nor input lag since I have only used <3ms TN panel. So I would sure take this one over any TN panel but over a PVA i'm still not sure. Can you recommend a PVA so that I can compare review ?

If price is critical, then consider the Asus VW246H (same as VK246H, but no webcam).

It's an average TN panel with pretty decent colors and near 0ms average input lag. Here is my review of the VK246H, the final post has a link to a www.prad.de review:

Price is not really critical but I don't want to pay for color restitution since I don't care about it. And it's kinda hard to go for this one when the thread before is somebody complaining about how horrible the VK266H is + it has a glossy bezel (my TV is glossy and never again will I buy something glossy it's a dust/fingerprint magnet)

Thank's for the info I'll try it if I go for the dell
