i've always thought Xp-120 plus a 120mm fan would be heavier (XP-120 is around 370g, i am not sure how heavy a 120mm fan would be)

but zalman's all copper 7700 are almost a kilogram according to some reviews? is this true?

this means zalman's heatsink + fan combo (all copper one) is actually HEAVIER than XP-120 plus a 120mm fan???
 
Bigger is better in men and copper coolers, baby! Well, at least... well... uh.... yeah, that's right. :cool:
 
duh, XP-120 is made of aluminum, of course it'll be lighter than copper heatsinks
 
well it won't be lighter then all copper heatsinks. The main adavantage to Al is it's lighter weight. toss in some heatpipes and it will probably perform better then an all Cu version sans heatpipes.
