Anyone dealt with this? Buddy wants me to send him a fw900 that i'm going to buy for him. I'm looking for any suggestions/help. . These need to be freighted? What sort of packaging should I use?

After spending tens of millions of dollars on advertising over the years the Bells are not going to be happy with you. Hint;” Let your fingers do the walking.” ;)

You have two avenues to follow. One is to find a Shipping Agent in your area that will pack and ship electronic items. You are talking about 100lb +/- here so if you don’t have the original packing you should get a professional to do it. The other option is to contact a local outlet of a national van line/moving company and see what options they have for shipping single items. It general the van line will hold the item until it has a larger shipment going from your area to the new area. Depending on “X” this could be tomorrow or months from now.

The one i bought from Accurate IT was shipped to me via BAXGlobal (baxglobal.com). Not sure if they do non-commercial shipping, but it seemed like they could (they deliver to residences, though i actually went down to their building to get it). You can get a shipping quote on their site too.

funny palmyra, i was also looking for suggestions on how to pack it right. nah i don't have original packing material. So i figure i'll buy a box, some styrofoam for the corners and wrap it in bubble wrap with peanuts. its about 96lbs, dhl said they'll ship it for 86$. This sounds like the best price I could find.
