Shiny Blue Paint

Could anyone tell me of some shiny blue looking paint that I would be able to apply to plastic?

fusion isnt shiny, although the fusion blue is a very vibrant blue

i reccomend rustoleum, one of their metallics line
i've had no problems working with plastic + rustoleum the times i've used it

Duplicolor, about four dollars a can at Wal-mart. I only wish that I could find it somewhere else....

Dupicolor is good, you need to follow a mirror finish tutorial. U can take most blue paint and make it a mirror finish.

You can give any paint a mirror finish with a good clear coat and proper prepping.

I used Rustoleum Metallic blue paint for my case, along with several coats of clearcoat... looks amazing

All of the above, combined with proper wet sanding will look great in the end.

I agree that you will see the best results with good prep and the application of clearcoats.

I used clearcoat on my mothers garden rocks for her, she liked the colors of the rocks after it rained, so I sprayed them for her, worked great.


OT: Sorry to thread-jack, but where does everyone get there spray paint? The local stores here(minneapolis)suck for selection.

I have seen online a paint system that you could use ordanry paints in an aresol like container that used regular air, but can't recall the name of it. Any suggestions for online paint suppliers?
