So had some big storms over the weekend, knocked out my internet for almost the entire weekend. I learned that without the internet, I have nothing...this has to change.

I have over 200 movies that I have bought through Amazon Video and are in my Amazon Library, I think I can download these onto a device.

So my question is, if I get a Nvdia Shield can I download movies onto it? Or should I be looking at something else to do this? If so what? Maybe a mini PC? I just want an easy interface for when I go to browse my movie library.

I use a cherry trail compute stick with a 6 TB external HD. I use Kodi for an interface. The reason is, it's transportable quite easily and some of our properties don't have internet.
