Well...its a sad day for my Thermaltake Purepower 680w PSU....Got it about 2 months ago and all was good. After some overclocking attempts which ultimately resulted in me putting everything back to stock settings....the PSU bit the big one.
As I was delightfully surfing the net upon the [H]ard Forums I was abruptly interrupted with a total system shutdown. After thinking "WTF!" for a few seconds I just tried turning it back on. That didn't work....of course. I flipped the switch on the PSU to turn it off then back on but NOTHING! I looked on my Mobo, which has a small red LED light signaling there is current, was not on.
To make a long story short....its dead. Oh well...at least I had an excuse to order more parts off newegg
. I ordered a new OCZ Powerstream 530w PSU and the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum board...w00t. Can't wait to start overclocking my 4000+
